The 52-1-3592 is a high-quality Pinet Raw Stainless Steel Butt Hinge built with 5mm plain holes. Butt hinges are versatile, suitable for doors, cabinets, and trunks, consisting of two interlocking plates, known as knuckles, joined by a pin.
Pinet introduces the most high-quality small standard hinges that are either zinc plated or made from stainless steel. These steel butt hinges consist of 5 mm plain holes and come with 3.5 mm screws.
Butt hinges are commonly used to hang and swing a door, but they may be used for other applications as well, such as installing cabinet doors or fastening a lid to a trunk. There are many butt hinges available to suit the different project requirements. Butt hinges are also considered the simplest and most affordable hinges. They have either chrome or brass finishing and solid steel construction.
Every butt hinge usually consists of two metal plates with interlocking teeth on the edge of each plate, also known as knuckles. The two plates that join the knuckles are joined together with the help of a pin, which passes along the entire length of the hinge through the knuckles. This feature allows the knuckles to move away from each other at a 180-degree angle.
