Microchip's RN-UFL SMA is a polarity SMA connector with a 6" coax cable suitable for connecting antenna systems.
SMA connectors are the most common RF connectors, ensuring uniform contact and operating up to 18 GHz. These connectors are extensively used for antenna connections, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Similarly, the Microchip RN-UFL-SMA6 is a quality 6-inch coaxial cable with male polarity SMA and U. FL connector designed for use with RP (reverse polarity) female antennas. Microchip’s coaxial cable has a rated temperature voltage of 105°C at 30 volts and a nominal impedance and capacitance of 50 ±3 and 96 ±3pF/m, respectively. Moreover, the cable comprises a connector with a braid, a jacket, a conductor, and insulation made from copper/silver materials. The product also features a spark test of 2.5 kV. The conductor is 0.08 mm in size and has 0.24 O.D while the insulation has 0.22 average thickness. In addition, Microchip’s RN-UFL-SMA6 is widely used in wireless and RF communication applications.

I mostly use these cables for SDR receivers to help provide extension when needed, especially for mobile applications. I test each one I get and so far they have been consistent and I seem to be getting what was expected. The cable itself appears to be of decent quality, RG174/U as stated, which is 50 ohm 26 AWG stranded wire with a 2.5mm OD PVC jacket. As with most Amphenol products, the quality is very good! I have had no reception problems so far.
