Pressmaster KAA-0760 Ergonomic Hand Crimp Tool The KAA-0760 ergonomic hand crimp tool is desgined for crimping red, blue and yellow pre-insulated crimp terminals with a wire range from 0.5 to 6.0mm 2 . This ratchet hand crimp tool has asymmetric colour-coded die nests, a ratchet with safety release, and ergonomic handles allowing two handed operation for a comfortable, secure crimping action. For replacement die set see stock number 557-862 Pressmaster General Support Tooling The Pressmaster range of Komfort tools are ergonomically designed to give maximum comfort with the minimum hand pressure required for reliable and repeatable crimping. All tools feature the Komfort frame design, which has been designed to reduce the amount of pressure required to complete a crimp. Reducing the risk of repetitive strain injuries. The ergonomic handles combined with a unique ratchet/pivot mechanism mean less operator fatigue leading to higher productivity and quicker throughput. Crimp Tool for Bootlace Ferrules 4 - 10mm² The Pressmaster 3 cavity die head tool is designed for crimping bootlace ferrules 4-10mm2 in size. The Pressmaster is a manual tool that is part of the pressmaster Komfort crimping tool range. Each Pressmaster 3 cavity die head tool is designed to give consistent and reliable crimp connections, and is precisely tooled to guarantee performance. Ratchet action and an emergency release mechanism are built in. The crimping tool is ergonomically designed for low effort crimping. Pressmaster Support Tooling Tools type PZ03 and type KEBS0560 have a front entry die system and makes for easier access in confined spaces. Tools type KEB4010 has a smaller frame and is suitable for one-handed use. All tools have ratchet action with an emergency release mechanism. Note All Pressmaster tools are compatible with the RS and Weidmüller ferrules. This connector does not require the centre contact to be crimped Tooling Information Crimp tool stock no. 185-6157 will crimp the centre contact, and tool stock no. 185-7734 (with appropriate die set) will crimp the outer ferrule. Selection of correct die set can be made with reference to the appropriate cable type (see price table). Tool stock no. 185-7734 is supplied in a carry-case with provision for the storage of die sets. Note that die set stock no. 409-3595 employs a single cavity for crimping type BT54 connectors.
