The Laiire Trent evaluation kit allows you to explore LAIIERs Trent technology and test the Trent sensor against your use cases. It contains the Trent evaluation board and LAIIERs capacitive Trent sensors. The sensors primary and first use case is measuring the level of a liquid within non-conductive containers. The sensors are constructed from a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polyester substrate printed with carbon ink. A sensor is composed of three individual electrodes, that combined, report any changes in the level of the measured liquid. The Trent evaluation board uses USB to power the board and to send the data via Serial to a computer. There, the data can be explored and analysed with any software that can input serial data. The resolution of the sensor depends on the thickness, volume and material of the container.
Key benefits of the Trent Evaluation Kit
Simple installation - it's easy to install, simply apply like a sticker to the container you wish to monitor
Detect leaks early - save yourself the hassle, time, and cost of repairing a leak by detecting it early
Can be fitted almost anywhere - it's durable, flexible, and robust adhesive backing means the sensor can bend, fit, and wrap around most non-conductive containers
Cost effective and scalable - water damage makes up for more than 50% of all commercial estate insurance claims, the Trent Evaluation Kit is a cost effective and scalable solution that can save you hefty insurance costs by detecting leaks early
