These standard plugs (often called Dupont) come in a small plastic box. The latter still need to be separated by a backing tape, but this is done by folding 2-3 from side to side. To lay the wires in the contacts, they must be crimped. It is not useful to solder the wires to the contacts (as the wires break quickly). But it is also almost impossible, because it is usually no longer possible to insert contacts into plastic bodies. Crimping is tricky and definitely takes a minute per contact (including wire stripping) and requires good crimping pliers specifically for these contacts...and good pliers don't come cheap. Also, not all settings are necessarily successful. I guarantee you it won't be fun! So producing a 20 piece set of wires with plugs/sockets at both ends will easily take an hour. Tip: Prefabricated cordsets with plugs/sockets already connected are available at quite affordable prices. Unless you absolutely need your own cables (e.g. silicone insulated) or are of unusual lengths, I'd rather recommend the finished cable sets - they are crimped quite well and save a lot of time. But there is nothing wrong with these plugs themselves, they are just the usual standard quality, which is stable and works and is usually completely sufficient. highly recommended!
