The 151‑3014 solder fume extractor is engineered for bench‑top soldering stations and light industrial use, offering 220 → 240 V AC operation and a compact footprint of 220 mm height × 220 mm width. With a 23 W power rating and a carbon‑filter element designed to neutralise odours and trap smoke particulates, it serves as an effective local extraction solution for soldering fumes. Supplied with a Type F (Schuko) plug and a UK converter, it caters to a range of plug‑type environments and supports both EU and UK installations.
This extractor unit utilises a built‑in fan and activated carbon filter to draw fumes away from the work area and trap harmful aerosolised flux and solder smoke. The replaceable filter element is accessible through the cover, allowing maintenance without complete disassembly. Its dual mounting flexibility, either placed on a bench or suspended above a workstation, makes it adaptable to various layouts.

This is a great little unit for the money! While someone who solders every day/all day (or with lead-free solder, which generates more fumes) would probably want something more powerful/larger than this, this extractor does a good job of drawing flux fumes for the use as a hobby or occasionally soldering. , which is more my application (I'm a soldering newbie who bought this for audio electronics work). I don't work in the fanciest room and this thing works great by keeping the air clean. Seems like a good quality unit, well made and with some heft. It's not particularly loud, but it's not exactly silent either. You need to have it close enough to what you're welding for it to absorb all the fumes; it won't perform well several feet away (it also helps to point the fan's input directly at what you're working on). So it's good for things ranging from quick and easy jobs to replacing components on small to medium-sized PCBs. I'd say in the grand scheme of things it's probably a 4/5 rating but round up to 5 due to good value for money in my opinion. Be realistic about what a desktop unit like this can do and you won't be disappointed.
