As the name suggests, the fume extractor is designed to extract fumes and smoke from the air in various environments before they enter the human body. The solder 220-240 V AC fume extractor extracts fumes by absorbing them that are produced during the soldering process. The extractor's built-in integral and removable carbon filter neutralises effective (99%) air-cleaning applications. The smoke extractor is compatible with Schuko plug types and prevents power surges by grounding the equipment. The appliance can be hung overhead or placed on a workbench with nine adjustable angles.
The answer is yes. Apart from extracting fumes from the air with a robust carbon filter, the bespoke appliance is effectively used as a fan for cooling applications.
For air cleaning operations, the device features a simple configuration. The air is cleaned by filtering the harmful particles by creating a suction force by the fan, which triggers the filtration system. After the air is filtered, the contaminant-free air is released back into the environment.
The highly effective fume extractor exhibits key features providing multiple benefits, such as:
The appliance is suitable for removing smoke and fumes in any environment, especially with high fume and smoke retention, such as:

This is a great little unit for the money! While someone who solders every day/all day (or with lead-free solder, which generates more fumes) would probably want something more powerful/larger than this, this extractor does a good job of drawing flux fumes for the use as a hobby or occasionally soldering. , which is more my application (I'm a soldering newbie who bought this for audio electronics work). I don't work in the fanciest room and this thing works great by keeping the air clean. Seems like a good quality unit, well made and with some heft. It's not particularly loud, but it's not exactly silent either. You need to have it close enough to what you're welding for it to absorb all the fumes; it won't perform well several feet away (it also helps to point the fan's input directly at what you're working on). So it's good for things ranging from quick and easy jobs to replacing components on small to medium-sized PCBs. I'd say in the grand scheme of things it's probably a 4/5 rating but round up to 5 due to good value for money in my opinion. Be realistic about what a desktop unit like this can do and you won't be disappointed.
