Some of us buy this separately and use it in our Covid ICU. We are very satisfied. It is slightly heavier than the hospital-supplied soft hood curtains otherwise very easy to use and lasts throughout the shift. We purchased a second filter and plan to swap and alternate them. Communication with Optrel and Weldforless was easy and appreciated. Optrel told me each filter should last a year in a hospital setting. We feel protected and trust our team. Hospital equipment is well used and shared so we are pleased to feel confident with this purchase and very happy to find this product and company. Communication was also great with answers to my questions. If this could fit into a soft hood it would be even better but the clearmaxxx helmet works well and allows for a full view. It takes a while to adjust the knobs to get them to fit well, but once in place it feels right. The pieces going across the forehead put pressure on the forehead but helped cushion the pieces. I am very excited to have this team.
