The Festo QSL-1/2-10 is a threaded-to-tube elbow adaptor used to connect pneumatic tubing to equipment at a right angle. One side has an R1/2 male thread, while the other accepts a 10 mm push-in tube. It is typically used in compressed air systems where space is limited or where the tube needs to change direction without bending. This fitting is designed for everyday industrial pneumatic setups and prioritises quick installation and secure holding over complexity.
The push-in side allows the tube to be inserted directly without tools. Once inserted, the internal gripping mechanism holds the tube firmly in place while maintaining an airtight seal. The threaded side screws directly into valves, cylinders, manifolds, or air preparation units.
The body is made for repeated use in industrial environments where fittings are installed, removed, or adjusted during maintenance. It is suitable for standard compressed air applications and performs reliably under normal operating pressures used in automation and machinery. Once installed correctly, it stays in position without loosening during regular system vibration.
It is often used where straight fittings would cause tube stress or awkward routing.
