I have had a hard time finding these nuts locally. I replaced a lower ball joint on my truck that took 6 hours to remove and replace. Tired, hungry and angry, I tried to force the tie rod end into the rear knuckle. Which led me to removing the threads on the tie rod nut and the tie rod end stud end. Brand new tie rod end. I was able to buy a die to chase the threads into the end of the tire bar because it was right at the tip of the stud. However, the die was beyond useful value. This two-pack of rod nuts had the perfect thread pitch and diameter. It screwed perfectly onto the tie rod end stud. I was exceptionally happy that I didn't have to buy another new tie rod. This Rod Nut has saved me money and given my pride back. lol
