I used 2 of these adapters on a tankless water heater to fit 1/2" NPT so I could use 36" FIP x FIP twisted lines. Sometimes this type of fitting can leak if you don't tighten it enough. If it's worked properly, you won't have to overtighten it. Threads were perfect, good fit, just tight and no leaks. I recommend them for their quality.
