This bit worked well for drilling into my quartz countertop to install an RO water faucet. I read the reviews to see how others have done it and found a simple procedure that worked for me. The important thing is to keep it fresh with water. Some have mentioned starting at an angle, but I opted to attach a board with a pre-drilled hole and start that way, with some water. After that I just used plumbers putty to make a pool of water and put a saucepan inside the cabinet. So it's just drill, baby, drill! I went medium paced, bite was barely warm. My only complaint is that I bottomed out, the depth of the hole saw wasn't enough to go all the way through my countertop (probably like 99%). The core broke easily with a light hit of my screwdriver and I finished drilling the rest. Overall nice and easy.
