The Xtra-Guard 2 range of abrasion-resistant cables manufactured by Alpha Wire is a heavy-duty cable utilized in industrial applications where mechanical abuse and abrasion are common. This cables consists of a specially constructed polyurethane jacket that provides three times the abrasion resistance of PVC.
Alpha wires 25006-BK005 have been manufactured with moderate to high resistance to most chemicals, oils, solvents, and fuels. This cable also has excellent UV light stability and outstanding protection against electromagnetic interference, including the Supra Shield Braiding. It is appropriate for use with the FIT-750 range of heat-shrink tubing.
The Super shield features a triple layer made from aluminium, polyester, and aluminium, and a braided shield constructed from copper. As the braid and foil combine in the construction, it offers excellent EMI performance to suit your application.
