Crimps are solderless electrical connections that are commonly used to terminate stranded wires. Crimping is usually performed by putting the terminal in the crimp tool. Make sure that the crimp is placed in the correct sized crimp barrel. After that, the wire is then inserted into the terminal, with the end of the wire touching the exit of the terminal to increase the cross-sectional contact. And in the last step, you need to compress and reshape the terminal by the crimp tool handle until the terminal is cold-welded onto the wire.
