A cantilever, a rigid, horizontally extended structural element, is supported at just one end. It often extends from a vertical flat surface that is firmly anchored, like a wall. Like other structural elements, a cantilever can be created as a beam, plate, truss, or slab.
The Unistrut cantilever arm is made of a sturdy 41 mm wide channel made of 2.5 mm thick stainless steel. The arm is 300 mm long, and the base is 135 mm by 45 mm. The mounting option uses two 14 mm holes.
Note:
The internal slot widths for stainless steel types are 21 mm and 22 mm, respectively, whereas channels constructed of galvanized steel have a 2.5 mm material thickness.
