I use all types of adhesives for many work and hobby related activities, so it's great to find quality products that fill a need. In my case, Araldite Standard Syringe Epoxy does exactly that by providing an extremely strong and reliable epoxy glue that allows repositioning for up to 2 hours. Unlike most current epoxies which cure (hold the glued object in place) in 5 minutes and cure (become rock hard) in about an hour, Araldite Standard Epoxy provides a real work time of 60 to 120 minutes (depending on thickness used, material usage and environmental conditions) and cures in approximately 12-24 hours. This is perfect when doing a complex and lengthy repair where perfect placement takes time and care. The epoxy dries clear but with a slight bright yellow tinge. Works great on almost any finish including glass and stone (less porous materials) and when set is rock solid. I have used it to repair an 8 inch crack in a large amethyst which included repositioning individual chips and the quartz is now firmer than when it was dug out of the ground. This is a great slower drying 2 part syringe epoxy that gets the job done right.
