Energizer Advanced Energizer Alkaline 9V Battery PP3

• A 9V Battery PP3 is an Energizer Advanced Alkaline battery; manufactured by Energizer Company. This battery can provide a stable voltage of 9V having PP3 size, which can almost last for 10 years. Applications that require mild energy use can maximize for up to 5 years. An Energizer Advanced Alkaline battery is not rechargeable.
• The first part of the energizer pp3 alkaline battery is the container. The container houses everything in the battery. It is made of steel. Inside the containers, the first two things that come are cathode and anode. The cathode is the combo of manganese dioxide and carbon, cathodes are the electrodes reduced by the electrochemical reaction. 
• An alkaline battery produces electricity when reduction of manganese dioxide occurs at cathode and oxidation occurs at zinc anode. Hydroxyl ions are produced at cathode while the same hydroxyl ions are consumed at anode to produce water.
