VEX's V5 Classroom Starter Kit not only introduces students to the hands-on aspects of STEM subjects, but also provides an engaging way for students experience an introduction to programming and coding when used in conjunction with VEX's VEXcode software. A scalable program that can be used across all school years, VEXcode introduces programming through a block-based interface that allows new programmers to focus on function and creativity, dragging and dropping functions into place to build their desired program. Once students are comfortable with block-based coding and are ready to graduate to text-based coding, VEXcode's built-in tools allow them to convert their blocks into text, giving a real-time insight into the C++ or Python code behind each function.
