Kestrel 5000 Pocket Weather Tracker
The Kestrel 5000 is a pocket weather meter which provides current data, tracks environmental change and predicts weather. Users include scientists, athletes/sports trainers, fire-fighters, automotive technicians, agricultural specialists, gardeners and weather enthusiasts. The Kestrel 5000 offers new advantages in data storage, graphing functions and computer interface technology. It can store up to 10,000 points of weather data. It enables users to track weather changes and view changes as graphs on the Kestrel 5000 display. Choice of model is between the basic 0850BLK (

). Bluetooth LiNK Technology enables 0850LBLK users to communicate with the Kestrel at a range of up to 100 ft (30.5 m) with Android or iPhone, and to maximise meter battery life. Both Kestrel 5000 models have a white backlight, for even daytime use, and a night-vision preserving backlight. The red night vision (NV) backlight incorporates an optical filter to reduce brightness and minimise blue and green spectrum light.
