Resistant to a wide range of fluids, especially water (including salt water and steam), anti-freeze, and synthetic oils
Effective for the sealing of holey or rough surfaces
Applications are:
Sealing of cooling systems such as water pumps, radiators, thermostat housings, Sealing sump and gearbox housings
Sealing against steam
Preventing galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals
Environmental seals, particularly those that may be exposed to salt water
