DSM Series Actuator Cover Caps
AKM cover caps from Festo are designed to be used with the DSM series of rotary actuators. The cover caps prevent contact with the swivel arm during operation removing the risk of damage or injury. Cover caps also provide some protect against dirt and debris ingress.
Fitting
Fitting the caps is easy, simply break off the required number of segments to allow the swivel arm to move through the desired angle. The cap then snaps into place with the three hooks fitting into a groove on the DSM swivel module.
Note
Please be aware that AKM covers CANNOT be used in combination with SIEN inductive proximity sensors.
