Delrin® has similar properties to Acetal Copolymer but with better mechanical and machining properties. Resistance to hot water and alkalis is slightly inferior.

Acetal Copolymer & Homopolymer
Both materials are available in rod and sheet form, they are abrasion and impact resistant and exhibit good chemical resistance. They are easy to machine and have excellent self lubricating properties. Both are UV light resistant and can be welded.
