The MN63Y1212 ( 824-0708 ) has only one RF operational mode which is used for communication between reader/writer and RFID device. The MN63Y1210A device has a serial interface compatible with both asynchronous UART (up to 38.4 kbps) and clock-synchronous (up to 1 Mbps) applications, and can also operate at 5V when the 5V tolerant I/O and clamp function is turned on.
