RS PRO Banding Tool, 19 mm Wide This banding tool from RS PRO has an extra heavy-duty tensioner for tightening the strapping around pallets and cardboard boxes. It's designed to work with woven, composite polyester and hot-melt cord strappings. It works with bindings that measure between 9 mm and 19 mm wide, and between 0.6 and 1.2 mm thick. This versatility lets you choose the type of strapping that's best suited to your requirements. With a maximum tension of 200 kg, the device can reliably deliver high strap tensions. It has a handle with a ratchet action that lets you tighten the strap as required. You can use it along with a sealer (available separately) that crimps a metal seal onto the strapping while it's held in place by this tool. You'll find this banding tool useful for heavy-duty product packaging or pallet strapping applications in manufacturing and distribution situations. This tool is both a tensioner and a cutter for strapping up to 15 mm wide. It's lightweight and easy-to-use. Simply wrap the strapping around your item and feed it through the tensioner, then move the handle to operate the ratchet action that tightens the strapping according to your requirements. When the strapping is tight, you can use a sealer (available separately) to crimp a 12 mm or 15 mm metal seal onto the strapping. Since the tool has a cutter, you can quickly and easily remove any excess strapping. This tool can be used either vertically or horizontally.
