A D-sub connector is a sort of connector typically embedded in electronic and communication systems. It is like a D-shaped metal band with two or more straight laid rows that contain one of them, such as pin contacts, commonly referred to as male or socket contacts, which are female since they are found in different sizes, materials, endurance, and magnitude.
The crimp contact is the most common kind of connector. A stripped wire end is inserted into the cavity at the back of the contact to assemble it. A crimp tool is then used to squeeze the cavity while grasping the contact with the wire.
The D-sub-shaped connector contacts distribute data or signals from one terminal to another throughout the D-sub connector.
