Hydrostatic level transmitters provide a accurate, reliable and simple way of measuring fluid level in various situations including laboratory testing, static tank level, environmental engineering, automotive testing, container/chamber level and rainwater harvesting.
The level transmitters piezo-electronic sensor sits in an oil filled diaphragm inside a stainless steel casing. The internal signal amplifier requires no adjustment as is resistant to shock and vibration.
All hydrostatic level sensors are supplied with a traceable serial number and calibration certificate and is temperature compensated at the factory.

Rosemount 2130 Vibrating Level Switch
Rosemounts 2130 vibrating level sensors work on the principle of a tuning fork to deliver accurate and reliable level measurement unaffected by turbulence, foam, vibration, solids content, coating products, and liquid properties.
The switches forks are oscillated at their natural frequency using a piezo- electric crystal. When forks come into contact with a fluid the oscillating frequency change that occurs is detected by the 2130 level switch and causes a change in output state.
The 2130 vibrating level sensor is simple to install and requires no calibration or maintenance. Internal diagnostics and LCD lights give a visual indication of the units operational status and health and a magnetic test point allow for easy functionality checking.

The Rosemount 2110 is a compact model, particularly suitable for installation in small vessels or pipes and high volume OEM applications.
When used as a low level alarm, the liquid in the tank or pipe drains down past the fork, causing a change of natural frequency that is detected by the electronics and switches the output state.
When used as a high level alarm, the liquid rises in the tank or pipe, making contact with the fork which then causes the output state to switch.

SICK's MFH15 series of optical level switches are robust and simple in construction and manufactured from stainless steel and polysulfone with a casing rated to IP 67. Optical Level sensors operate using a LED light and the principle of refraction. The level sensor emits a beam of light from the LED which is directed via a prism at the tip of the sensor to a receiver unit.
