The bootlace ferrule kit consists of 400 high-quality DIN and insulated bootlace ferrules. The standard colour-coded insulated bootlace ferrules are also referred to as wire-end ferrules or cord-end ferrules. The contents are separately housed in distinct sections within a clear circular box and come in different sizes, including 0.5 mm² through to 2.5 mm². There are ferrule kits with durable and lightweight handles for easy carrying applications. In addition, the kit allows easy operations in various settings ensuring all the essential terminal sizes are housed with easy portability attributes.
Features and Benefits of Bootlace Ferrule Crimp Terminal Kit (400 Piece):
Bootlace ferrule kit features excellent attributes with plenty of advantages, such as:
Depending on terminal kit types, they may include crucial terminal components, including crimp tools, crimp terminals, coaxial cable strippers, cable cutters, and ratchet tools.
What Are the French Colour Code Kits?
French colour-code kits refer to two handy insulated bootlace ferrules’ kits of 0·5 mm² through to 10 mm². These kits comprise two stock numbers representing the content number and types, as kit 1 consists of ferrules only, whereas kit 2 includes plier crimp tools and ferrules with sizes from 0.75 to 10 mm².
What is Meant by Crimping?
Crimping is the process of wire strand terminations to allow them to connect to external circuits after being squeezed by crimping tools. This process is beneficial as it resists wire corrosion and makes mechanically strong connections by a cold weld to given terminals.
Within a crimp terminal kit, the desired terminal can be crimped by following simple practices, such as:
Bootlace Ferrules: A Brief Introduction
Bootlace ferrules are metallic tubes with moulded, colour-coded plastic and insulating collars. The cable and wire ferrules are placed over the multistranded wire, or cable ends, crimped, screwed, or spring clamped, capturing all strands for making electrical connections.
Typical Applications of Bootlace Ferrules:
Bootlace ferrules are widely used to insert various terminal blocks and screw terminals. They are essential for environments that require multistranded wire connections and offer several applications for:

These are great. What more can i say It can save your life if you connect a device and need to connect the wires. No need to cut and splice wires which can damage the wires and cause them to corrode over time. And it saves time too. Connect the wire to the fuse box, crimp it to the hot wire, remove the fuse and put it in the place closest to the two pins, put the new fuse in the second position and put it in the fuse box . It's simple. now. Additional notice is required. It seems many modern cars and trucks today use fuses that are smaller than the micro fuses we are all familiar with. Toyota knows this for sure. New fuses do not fit here. In the 60s-70s they came out with regular fuses, and they came out with fuses that looked like regular fuses but smaller. they work. But now they have another small fuse that fits into the micro slot, but the pins are flush with the bottom of the fuse. They will not fit these. You may need to purchase a generic micro fuse from an auto parts store to replace the factory fuse with this one. I always buy an extra pack of fuses for each car and put them in the glove box just in case. I recommend it to everyone. But hey, it's only a few dollars for a lot of packages. However, I just want to know that if you have a new car that uses a new small micro fuse on the floor, you should buy a micro fuse. I hope this helps you.
